ISO/TS 16949 is an ISO Technical Specification, written in conjunction with the IATF (International Automotive Task Force). The standards aligns QS 9000 (American), VDA 6.1 (German) and AVSQ (Italian) automotive quality standards.
ISO/TS 16949:2002 specifies the quality system requirements for the design/development, production, installation and servicing of automotive-related products.
